Throughout 2009 and 2010, the Texas based hard rock band Waking Alice has been developing a name for themselves while opening up for several national acts such as: The Bravery, Divine Heresy, Fair to Midland, Spoonfed Tribe, and The Vanished. The stylistic range of their songs made it easy for them to be accepted by both Alternative Rock and Heavy Metal fans. Heavy guitars, melodic vocals, and a driving rhythm section makeup the palette from which Waking Alice works from.
In the summer of 2010, Waking Alice entered the studio with Grammy Award-winning producer Eric Delegard of Reeltime Audio in Denton, TX. The product of these sessions would become Waking Alice’s strongest effort to date. Mastering duties were placed into the hands of one of the top mastering engineers in the country, Tom Baker of precision mastering in Hollywood, CA.
