Sayonara mixes the effervescence of unique and thoughtful sounds with the honesty of this world's beauty and flaws. Formed in August of 2010 by founding members/sweethearts Debbie Pucek and Sean Blythe; Sayonara started out abandoned on the side of the music road, knowing well that they would have to find their way to a home they had not yet understood or known. Mixing the high-energy of Progressive with the sass and attractiveness of catchy pop, Sayonara punches you in the face with Debbie's "tell it like it is" lyrics and controlled chaos-esque rhythms.
As the months of summer ended, fall and winter followed bringing Sayonara's first official show in Chicago IL. Upon returning to Texas, Sayonara recorded demos of all written songs and began gigging in the Dallas scene. With their unparalleled style and individual flair, they have captivated concert-goers of all ages and backgrounds.
With each moment, Sayonara changes and evolves. Much like an animal who is forced to be something he originally was not. They are currently recording their first EP set for release on Lilypad Records Fall of 2011.
