JAW'S FULL OF ****, SO MUCH **** TALKING IN SHOW BIZ, I SEE SO MANY HATER'S I GUESS I KNOW WHO THE PLAYA IS.! Hellafied Funk Crew was born in the summer of 1993, the brainchild of California native and veteran rapper Charles Treadwell. His vision to combine hip-hop with a heavy groove, a combination of Parliament Funkadelic and Black Sabbath soon became his mission. His vision became reality when a diverse group of musicians collided in Denver, Colorado. Charles the "Funky W" (Voc's), Kenny James (Drum's), Randy Lodes (Guitar), and Andy Phiefer (Bass). The result was a fusion of rap lyrics, hip-hop loops, and power chord rock that was so unique it could only be classified as Hellafied Funk. After only four live performances, HFC claimed the award for Best New Band in Denver at the coveted Granny Awards, the largest awards event for recognizing talent in the local Colorado music scene. In 1995 the band relocated to Dallas, Texas where they recruited a new bass player and drummer. The Hellafied Funk Crew is: Charles The "Funky W" Treadwell (Vocals), Ryan oAlien RPo Pyffer (Vocals), Bob oBizzy Bo Kakaha (Bass), Tsuyoshi oThe Mastero Suzuki (Guitar), and Chris oHitmano Antonopolous (Drums). Dubbed the oDream Teamo as each is a master of their craft individually, the band?s chemistry as a unit is rivaled by few. Hellafied Funk Crew's intensity and stage presence create a high energy show that is so infectious they are a guaranteed crowd pleaser at any event.
